#SimonSays Sangria created by Rock ‘n’ Roll Chef Kerry Simon
“Rock ‘n’ Roll” Chef Kerry Simon’s Carson Kitchen in downtown Las Vegas serves up the #SimonSays Sangria. The fun and easy to make cocktail consists of four simple ingredients: red wine, sparkling wine, seasonal berries and dark cherry puree. This summer refresher is appropriate for every occasion and is effortless to put together in a matter of minutes.
Carson Kitchen’s #SimonSays Sangria
- 2 bottles Red Wine
- 2 bottles Sparkling Wine
- 12 oz. Torched Cherry Rum
- 12 oz. Triple Sec
- 16 oz. Lemon Juice
- 16 oz. Orange Juice
- 8 oz. Cherry Puree
- 8 oz. Simple Syrup
Preparation: Combine the above ingredients. Pour in a pound of fresh strawberries, blueberries and blackberries. Let sit for 24 hours. Remove fruit. Pour over ice and top with a healthy splash of lemon-lime soda (Sprite, 7-Up, etc.) and garnish with a few fresh berries. Ready to serve.
