Rusty Bucket is excited to announce the launch of Gary’s Blend No. 8 and Bucket Spiced Bourbon at all Rusty Bucket Restaurant locations.

Gary Callicoat’s love and appreciation for the craft of bourbon led him to a partnership with Woodford Reserve’s Master Distiller to custom blend bourbon barrels to be exclusively served at Rusty Bucket locations.

This is the eighth exclusive blend Gary and his team have made with Woodford Reserve. The bourbon has a sharp caramelized herb note with light spice warming the palate and a sharp, sweet, dark fruit character

Bucket Spiced Bourbon is made with Gary’s Blend No. 8 and is shaken with housemade mulled wine, fresh-squeezed lemon and orange juices with a dash of apple bitters. It’s garnished with an orange peel and perfect for the cold winter season.

Bucket Spiced Bourbon


  • 2 oz. Gary’s Blend #8 Woodford Reserve
  • 1/2 oz. Mulled Wine*
  • 1/2 oz. Lemon Juice
  • 1/2 oz. House-made Simple Syrup
  • 1 oz. Orange Juice
  • 1 dash of Apple Bitters (1 dash of Bitters Equals 4-5 Drops from a Dropper)

Glass: Collins

Garnish: Orange Peel

Preparation: Add all ingredients to mixing tin & fill with ice. Shake & Strain into an iced Collins Glass. Garnish with an orange peel.

*Mulled Wine Recipe


  • 3 cups Pinot Noir
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 3 Cinnamon Sticks
  • 3 Whole-Star Anise
  • 1 Orange Peel

Preparation: Add ingredients to saucepot & simmer until sugar is dissolved. Once dissolved, let simmer for 15 minutes to steep. Strain & Cool. Label & Date (shelf life 10 days.)
