Motley Brews’ Fourth Annual Downtown Brew Festival Lights Up the Night for a Sold-Out Crowd of Beer Lovers with Hundreds of Craft Brews and Innovative Culinary Bites.
More than 3,000 of Las Vegas’ craft beer enthusiasts gathered for Motley Brews’ fourth annual Downtown Brew Festival at the Clark County Amphitheater for an intimate backyard bash under the stars filled with more than 250 craft beer flavors from over 70 local, national and international breweries, delectable culinary treats from celebrated local chefs and nonstop entertainment with a new sound.
“The Downtown Brew Festival has become one of Nevada’s most anticipated fall craft beer events, so we knew we had to bring new ideas to the table to turn the event into one that is incomparable to years before. The craft beer industry is growing and we are grateful for the opportunity to share the unique brews with our record breaking number of attendees this year. Not only did the night offer great beer, but we were able to introduce guests to new beer-inspired flavors from some of Las Vegas’ most renowned chefs.”
– Brian Chapin, Motley Brews founder
This year’s festival goers sampled some of the season’s top craft beer flavors, including crowd favorites such as Small Town Brewery’s Not Your Father’s Root Beer and Founders Brewing Company’s All Day IPA. Throughout the evening, guests sipped mouth-watering tastes from new and returning breweries, including Ballast Point, Chaucer’s Cellars, Left Hand Brewing Company, Modern Times, Pizza Port Brewing Company, Shades of Pale, Speakeasy Ales & Lagers, Stone Brewing Company and many more.
Heating up the starry evening, craft beer aficionados dined on Las Vegas’ top notch beer-infused menus from local celebrity chefs. This year’s Festaurant Row featured a variety of restaurants and food trucks, each with their own distinct menu. Crowd favorites included MTO Café’s Hangover Burger, Mochiko Chicken’s Tenders n’ Waffles, Itsy Bitsy Ramen & Whisky Chicken and Veggie Teriyaki Bowls; and SLO-BOY’s Tri-tip Sandwich with Firestone Wookey Jack Sauce. Additional restaurants added to the mix included Truk-N-Yaki, Sausagefest, QFS Tacos and Urban Turban.
VIP ticket holders enjoyed an exclusive tasting experience with flavorful menu items crafted by Chef Sam Marvin of Echo and Rig and Chefs Eric and Bruce Bromberg of Blue Ribbon Restaurants in the private VIP Pavilion. VIP guests also had the opportunity to sample Joseph James Brewing Co. 2015 Bourbon Barrel, Speakeasy Ales & Lagers Syndicate No. 2, which was recently retired, along with several other rare pours only available to VIP guests.
As Nevada’s largest fall craft beer event took over the night, the Downtown Brew Festival featured a new funk-electronic sound with live performances by Pumpkin and Vokab Kompany. Guests took a seat on the grassy fields under the twinkling lights within the picturesque amphitheater and enjoyed the hypnotic sounds from each band. A portion of the proceeds from the event went to the Goodie Two Shoes Foundation and Nevada Craft Brewers Association.
