Introducing part six of the Seven Deadly LeSins – Desire with LeSin Vodka.

This seven-part series will bring you 14 totally unique recipes brought together by Chilled 100 Ambassadors and the LeSin team.

LeSin Vodka teamed up with the Chilled 100 to get creative and give back to bartenders with their Seven Deadly LeSins cocktail program. The brand put together a program to not only put much-needed funds directly in the hands of bartenders, but to create unique recipes for both professionals and home enthusiasts to try. Charles Vaughn, Founder of LeSin, explained, “We challenged the talented LeSin teams and Chilled 100 Ambassadors to create something new and amazing that you can look forward to when the world re-opens (and it will), and also something sure to impress your friends when you entertain at home during these different times. We felt this LEVEL UP was something in between on-premise and off-premise, so we called it HOME-PREMISE.”

Vaughn added that the program was about how to do more than just make a cocktail; it was about finding a way to infuse each recipe with energy. After all, when you go out for a night of drinking, there’s so much more to the experience than just what you’re drinking.

Bartender Wendy Hodges was challenged to create a cocktail inspired by the theme of Desire and the color Green.

The Garden of Hesperides (Level Up)


  • 2 oz. Le Sin Vodka “Steeped” With Matcha Peppermint Tea
  • 1/4 oz. Yellow Chartreuse
  • 1 oz. Fresh Pressed Green Apple Juice
  • 1/2 oz. Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 1/2 oz. Cardamom Matcha Syrup*
  • 2 dashes Barkeep Baked Apple Bitters
  • 1 Egg White

Preparation: Dust in lines with matcha powder and ground cardamom. Dried spiced green apple wheel.

*Cardamom Matcha Syrup

2:1 simple syrup boiled with 1 tsp. matcha powder and 1 tbsp. cardamom seeds. Apple slices: mandolin slice green apple and dip slices in cardamom/matcha syrup. Sprinkle with powdered cardamom. Dehydrate in food dehydrator.

Apple of Desire (Home Premise)


  • 2 oz. Le Sin Vodka “Steeped” With Matcha Peppermint Tea
  • 3/4 oz. Apple Pie Liqueur
  • 1 1/2 oz. Sweet Lemon Sour (2:1 sugar to lemon)
  • 6-8 Mint Leaves

Preparation: Put all liquid ingredients in mixing glass. Slap the mint to release the oils and add to the mixing glass as well. Using your bucket glass, measure enough ice to fill the glass and pour into the mixing glass. Cap glass with mixing tin and shake 3 times hard and pour cocktail with ice and mint into your bucket glass. Garnish: Fresh apple slice and mint.
