By Chilled Magazine

Jose Cuervo® just unveiled a cutting-edge experience at JFK International Airport commemorating the Rolling Stones tour plane experience – the second activation in a year-long series of epic programming and an extension of last month’s launch of the Jose Cuervo limited edition Especial and Reserva de la Familia Rolling Stones Tour Picks bottles.

The one-of-a-kind installation is housed in the retail lounge of Concourse A in Terminal 4. This innovative installation celebrated the pivotal role Jose Cuervo played in fueling the 1972 North American Tour. The experience is housed in Concourse A in the retail lounge of Terminal 4 at the John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York City from November 6th until December 30th for holiday travelers. During this time, travelers will have the opportunity to sample the Jose Cuervo Especial liquid from Monday through Saturday, 2:30 – 8:00pm.

Let’s set the stage. The decade is the 1970s. The band is The Stones, rolling across the globe, playing their way into the rock ‘n’ roll record books. This is a time of excess in the United States, and no moment marked the American ethos more than the glittering glamour of The Rolling Stones™ 1972 North American Tour. An endeavor of epic proportions spanning sold-out shows, countless after-parties, and an infinite entourage of celebrities, it is widely heralded as the greatest party of all time.

To relive the iconic 1972 North American tour, dubbed the ‘Tequila Sunrise Tour’, Jose Cuervo has partnered with Air Hollywood, the leading aviation-themed set designer to turn a 1500 square foot space in the T4 terminal of JFK into a one-of-a-kind replica airplane. The trail blazing installation will give holiday travelers the opportunity to experience a piece of rock ‘n’ roll history while sampling special edition Jose Cuervo tequila, relaxing in first class and getting their hands on the highly coveted, limited edition Jose Cuervo Rolling Stone Tour Picks bottles.

To add to this epic experience, Jose Cuervo has enlisted an entourage of its own! Rock ‘n’ Roll publicist Carol Klenfner is available to speak about the 1972 tour and share memories of how Jose Cuervo played an integral part in the tour. Carol worked as the press officer for the Rolling Stones during the East Coast leg of their 1972 North American Tour. Additionally, the founder of AirHollywood, Talaat Captan, who has created airplane sets and replicas for such movies as Money Ball, Wolf of Wall Street, Inception, and Bridesmaids, will be available to discuss his design inspiration.
