The holiday season is here and just in time comes the release of Jolly Traveler Winter Shandy.

The American craft wheat ale is made with real orange, pomegranate and a hint of holiday spice. With the warm spices and flavors of the season, the winter shandy is perfect on its own, or mixed into a specialty beer cocktail.

Unlike most holiday themed beers, which are often dark, heavy, and high in alcohol content, Jolly Traveler serves as a lighter, refreshing alternative.

Try this delicious Mulled Shandy recipe using Jolly Traveler.

Mulled Shandy

Ingredients:

  • 2 bottles of Jolly Traveler
  • 4 tbsp. Palm Sugar
  • 3 Kaffir Lime Leaves
  • 50gr Ginger
  • 6 mint Leaves
  • 6 Coriander Stalks
  • 1 tsp. Coriander Seeds
  • 1 tsp. Lemongrass Stalk
  • 1/2 a Red Birds Eye Chill
  • Cinnamon stick
  • Cloves
  • Sliced Lemon

Preparation: Pour two bottles of Jolly Traveler small saucepan. Add spices. Heat the Jolly and spices in a small saucepan on low to medium-low heat. If the beer begins to boil turn down the heat. The beer will begin to foam, but should subside after a minute or two.
