Tanduay Takes Tampa at the USBG 5th Annual Repeal Day Conference

On Friday, December 5th and Saturday, December 6th, Tanduay Asian Rum participated in the USBG Repeal Day Conference presented by the organization’s Tampa Bay chapter.

Throughout the weekend, event attendees enjoyed crafted dinners, educational seminars and Prohibition-themed gatherings celebrating Repeal Day at various venues in the downtown Tampa area. Led by global rum ambassador Ian Burrell, Tanduay’s seminar, “Rum Production and Culture”, gave a brief background on rum, the spirit’s various styles of production and the history of Tanduay. Closing the weekend was the 5th annual Repeal Day Party. Held at the Cuban Club in Ybor City, the gala offered cocktails, light appetizers and entertainment throughout the evening. There, Tanduay sampled two cocktails—The Bitter Tea of General Yen and the East of Borneo that were created specifically for the brand by USBG members.
