QT Sydney Offers Guests Australia’s First-Ever All-Negroni Cocktail Menu

QT Sydney, the most cutting-edge luxury hotel to open in Australia’s largest city in more than a decade, now offers guests an exclusive, curated menu of specialty Negroni cocktails, a first for a hotel bar on the continent.

The Negroni, a classic Italian cocktail comprised of gin, sweet vermouth, Campari and orange, gets put through its paces in the creative QT Sydney Negroni Menu, available for sampling during Aperitivo Hour at the hotel’s Parlour Lane Roasters and in the late-night Gilt Lounge. The Negroni Menu runs the gamut from the traditional, such as a Classic Negroni (Plymouth Gin, Carpano Antica sweet vermouth, Campari and orange); to a slight twist on the traditional, such as the Barrel Aged Negroni (Tanqueray Gin, Cinzano Rosso sweet vermouth, Campari and orange, aged for 8 weeks in French oak) or the Barrel Aged Boulevardier #2 (Rittenhouse Rye, Cinzano Rosso, Amaro Montenegro and lemon, aged for 8 weeks in French oak); to more avant-garde combinations invented by QT Sydney Bar Manager Jared Thibault, including the Negroni ’75’ (Tanqueray Gin, Cinzano Rosso, Campari, fresh lemon, sugar, Prosecco and lemon swizzle) and the ‘Negroni Sbagliato’ (Tanqueray Gin, Dolin Blanc sweet white vermouth, Aperol and Reagans Orange Bitters).

Guests at QT Sydney can also choose to sample a Negroni Flight, which allows them to taste three of the hotel’s signature Negronis to see which they like best. And in a fun, effervescent twist, all of the cocktails on the QT Sydney Negroni Menu can be enjoyed carbonated, using the bar’s Perlini carbonated shakers.
