“Entrepreneurs have come from all over the world to take our distiller courses,” said owner David Dafoe. “Many of our graduates are already successful showing there is no better place to learn how to break into the spirits business than Moonshine University.”

New offerings for 2015 include the most extensive course yet on rum production taught by Rum University president Luis Ayala alongside Moonshine University experts; an advanced sensory training program to fine tune the senses to create great spirits; and expanded workshops on gin making, fermentation and distillery operations. A new partnership with Jefferson Community and Technical College (JCTC) will allow students to earn college credit working toward a business degree by taking the 5-Day Distiller Course. To receive 5 credit hours in Business Management from JCTC, students must contact Moonshine University to connect with a representative from the college and enroll for an additional fee of $755.
