The House of Lustau Launches Certified Sherry Wine Specialist Course

The House of Lustau Launches Certified Sherry Wine Specialist Course in the U.S. in Collaboration with Lustau Brand Educator, Lucas Payá, aimed at Industry Professionals and Wine and Hospitality Schools.
The House of Lustau, a leading producer of Sherry wines, recognized for outstanding accolades, has created a Certified Sherry Wine Specialist Course for industry professionals – sommeliers, bartenders, distributors, sales representatives – and for Wine and Hospitality Schools throughout the US.
The Certified Sherry Wine Specialist Course offers Intermediate Level study material that has been approved by the Regulatory Council of Sherry Wines Jerez-Xérès-Sherry. Those who pass the certification, which comprises of a class, tasting and exam throughout a 2 1/2 hour course duration led by Lucas Payá, Certified Sherry Educator, will receive a Certificate of Achievement and will be recognized as a Certified Sherry Wine Specialist (CSWS) at the Intermediate Level signed by the Regulatory Council and Lustau CEO, Luis Luengo.

On April 1st, 2017, the House of Lustau launched a Sherry 101 online study guide at Lustau.Es/En, Training.Lustau.Es for students and members of the industry interested in preparing for the Certified Sherry Specialist Course.

The House of Lustau Wine Specialist Course will be offered via the House of Lustau’s distributor network and through collaborations with any educational entity, such as wine academies and wine and hospitality schools that would like to partner with the House of Lustau to offer the Certified Sherry Wine Specialist Course to students.
