Fireman’s Brew Announces Nationwide Launch of IPA

By Chilled Magazine

Award-winning craft beer company takes previously California-exclusive India Pale Ale product nationwide.

Fireman’s Brew, the fast-growing Los Angeles-based craft beer company founded by two California firefighters, today announces the multi-state launch of its most recent product release: Fireman’s Brew IPA. Previously available exclusively in California, the company’s take on a bold and refreshing West Coast-style India Pale Ale (IPA) made with a delicious and aromatic blend of Cascade, Columbus, Chinook and Galena hops will now be made available to their entire Fireman’s Brew distribution network across United States.

The product is the only member of Fireman’s Brew’s award-winning portfolio of micro-brews to be packaged in a cool, refreshing, 16 oz. can, promoting light-weight portability and access.

“The IPA has been an absolutely tremendous success for us in California over the past year, and we couldn’t be more excited to finally give craft beer drinkers nationwide a taste — we’re confident that they’ll find it just as irresistible as those here in the Golden State. With its solid malt backbone and unique combination of four different hops all served up in a refreshingly portable can, the Fireman’s Brew IPA is primed to be the go-to India Pale Ale for craft beer lovers across the country to cool off with as the weather heats up in the coming months. Whether you’re out at a summer music festival, tailgating a ballgame, spending a day at the beach, partying on a yacht or anything in between, the Fireman’s Brew IPA is ready to go wherever the spring and summer spirit takes you.”

The Fireman’s Brew signature beer portfolio includes the following

Fireman’s Brew: IPA (Pale Ale; 6.5 percent ABV)

Fireman’s Brew: Brunette (German-style Doublebock; 8 percent ABV)
Fireman’s Brew: Redhead (Amber Ale; 5.5 percent ABV)

“IPAs have helped drive the craft beer renaissance, making up nearly 50 percent of the craft beer market share. And, after testing our own version here locally in California, we’ve seen just how in-demand they are first-hand. There’s never been a better time to add an IPA to our national line of award-winning brews, and we can’t wait for our out-of-state customers to crack open their first can of this India Pale Ale featuring a mixture of bittering and aromatic hops.”
– Roger Baer, chief executive officer for Fireman’s Brew

The standard four-pack of canned IPA retails for $8.99, although prices may vary by location.

Rapidly expanding across the county since 2012, Fireman’s Brew is currently available in California, Arizona, Nevada, Colorado, Oklahoma, Illinois, Ohio, Kansas, Virginia, Michigan, Hawaii, West Virginia, Louisiana, Minnesota, Utah, and Missouri.

Conceived by two Los Angeles-based firefighters after extinguishing a brushfire in the local mountains, Fireman’s Brew grew out of their vision to create a premium line of handcrafted ales and lagers that would quench their thirsts after an exhausting day on the fire lines. Fireman’s Brew’s collection of micro-brewed beers is created using only the finest of all-natural ingredients to deliver bold, full-flavored, traditional tastes and easy drinking refreshment. In addition, Fireman’s Brew is committed to giving back to the firefighter community that inspired it by donating a portion of company proceeds to the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation — the nation’s leading non-profit organization dedicated to honoring fallen firefighters and providing assistance to their surviving families.
