“There is really not an event like this in the country—one that brings together all things beverage—with bartenders, sommeliers, owners, beverage makers, and media in the same room, talking about current and pressing issues,” stated Angel Postell, founder and organizer of BevCon Charleston. “The founding advisory committee saw a need for this kind of gathering, and want to focus on craft-minded ideas and cutting edge products. Our plan is to keep the event intimate and thoughtfully curated where attendees will continuously have the opportunity to meet inspiring individuals while learning and tasting innovative ideas and products. Charleston serves as a wonderful backdrop to host such an event and we look forward to showcasing what is happening here in regards to the beverage industry.”
How to Get Involved and Attend!
BevCon Charleston is impossible without the inspiration and support of our local and national beverage community! Some ways to get involved:
Apply to Attend: we want to make sure individuals committed to their own professional growth and that of the industry attend the event. We intend to keep it intimate and offer special tastings, learning sessions, and more. The goal is for this to be an industry-only event. In order to ensure this happens, all interested attendees must first submit an application for consideration. Once reviewed, each applicant will then be notified if accepted or not in early 2016. If accepted, attendees will receive a link to purchase an all-access pass for BevCon with a participation fee of $500 per person. To learn more and to apply, visit BevConCHS.com/Passes
