Cocktail Inspiration:

The inspiration and name for The Gilded Lion comes from my Scottish heritage. Scots are known for our strength, fortitude, and big personas, thus the Lion that emblazons the flag and Crest of our land. Harleston Scotch makes an impact in this cocktail with a strong backbone of smoke, a bit of pear, and incredible balance. Marigold, long valued for its medicinal properties of strengthening the heart and aiding in cleansing the body, supports the scotch base, along with the herbal Benedictine and slightly floral Lillet. All together, they create a bold, spirit-forward cocktail with depth and balance. Cheers!
