The Drug Mule

  • 1.5 oz. Wódka Vodka
  • .75 oz. Pineapple Juice
  • .5 oz. Lime Juice
  • .25 oz. Tropical Oleo Sacchrum
  • .25 oz. Golden Falernum
  • .25 oz. Orgeat
  • splash Ginger Beer

Preparation: Splash ginger beer in chilled coupe and set aside. Combine all ingredients into shaker. Shake until proper dilution. Strain into chilled coupe with ginger beer, garnish, sip & sip again.

Garnish: Edible Flower & Pineapple Frond

Cocktail Inspiration:

Everyone loves mules, except people who actually enjoy craft cocktails. From my experience they add too much ginger beer which makes the cocktail one note. I wanted to create a mule with only a splash of ginger beer and one that utilizes the flavors of the Vodka to accentuate the ginger beer while not detracting from the overall flavor of the vodka. So I created the drug mule, a mule so well balanced it’ll be your new drug of choice. Cheers!
