The Bed and Breakfast

  • 1.5 oz. Wódka Vodka
  • 1 oz. Borghetti Expresso Liqueur
  • 1 oz. Re’al Pumpkin Puree
  • 1 oz. Heavy Cream
  • Whipped Cream
  • Pumpkin Pie Spice

Preparation: Combine Wodka, Borghetti, pumpkin puree and heavy cream in a Boston shaker. Wet shake, then dry shake vigorously. Strain over ice in a snifter or Irish coffee mug. Top with homemade whipped cream, and dust generously with pumpkin spice.

Cocktail Inspiration:

The inspiration is the popularity of pumpkin spice lattes from popular coffee chains. These seasonally available lattes inspire a feverish excitement every Fall among young women. Initially I called the cocktail the ‘Becky’, a tongue in cheek acknowledgement of those patrons. For the hotel world I adjusted it to ‘bed and breakfast’ on honor of our corner of the hospitality world, but still keeping the initials B&B for those basic young ladies.
