“Tea Off”

  • 1.5 oz. Harleston Green scotch
  • 0.5 oz. Green Chartreuse
  • 0.75 oz. Green Tea Honey Syrup*
  • 0.5 oz. Fresh Lime Juice
  • 1 Egg White

Preparation: Combine all the ingredients into the shaker and dry shake for about 10 seconds, then add ice and shake until proper dilution. Double strain into a chilled coupe and garnish with pulverized mate-green tea powder and a sugar pearl.

*Green Tea Honey Syrup

  • 5 Tea Bags
  • 16 oz. Hot Water
  • 24 oz. Honey

Steep the tea bags in hot water for about 5 minutes. Then take the tea bags out of the water and then mix it with the honey.

Garnish: Pulverized Mate-Green Tea & Sugar Pearl

Cocktail Inspiration:

My inspiration for this cocktail was to create an homage to those first Scottish men who brought golf to America and for all those golf lovers, the perfect cocktail to drink while your watching golf or hanging out at the country club before you’re about to play golf with your friends. The cocktail itself it’s a great representation of the flavor profile of the harleston green scotch whiskey. Cheers
