Ingredients:

  • 1.5 oz. Harleston Green Scotch
  • 0.5 oz. Lemon
  • 0.5 oz. Honey

Preparation:

  1. Combine Scotch, freshly squeezed lemon juice, honey in a shaker.
  2. Shake vigorously.
  3. Double strain into cocktail glass.
  4. Top with Orange Essence Foam.

Garnish: Edible Organic Flowers

Glassware: Elegant Nick and Nora Glass

Cocktail Inspiration:

My inspiration for this magnificent cocktail is dear to my heart. Being born in Perú, I based it on one of the most influential sours, the Pisco sour, which is Perú’s national cocktail. I modified it with Harleston Green and highlighted this wonderful Scotch’s notes with freshly squeezed lemon and raw honey which I sourced from a local farm. In central Florida, there’s a smell of oranges in the air, which lead me to create an aromatic orange essence foam that simply takes your breath away; just like the beautiful crisp air of summer that I remember smelling after hiking Machu Picchu. The flowers that I saw while hiking those beautiful trails inspired the floral elements for garnishes. Last but not least, I used a glass that was elegant & stood high and tall just like the Sun.
