Smoke & A Pancake

  • 2 oz. Harleston Green Scotch
  • 1 oz. Oolong Maple Syrup*
  • 1 spray Cruzan Black Strap Rum
  • 2 dashes Fee Brothers Walnut Bitters
  • 1 spray Clarified Butter

Preparation: Mix scotch and syrup over ice, strain into tea cup, spray Cruzan & clarified butter. Sever with ice sphere.

*Oolong Maple Syrup

Make a tea from one cup of hot water with 5 bags of oolong. Add 1/4 cup of maple syrup.

Garnish: Mini Pancake.

Glassware: Tea Cup

Cocktail Inspiration:

This drink is inspired by what I crave after a night of heavy drinking. The necessary caffeine boost, the smoke of the scotch imitates a cigarette, and the maple offers a perfect sweetness reminiscent of breakfast. Mini pancake wonderful, but optional!
