Short Handed

  • 1.5 oz. Wódka Vodka
  • 0.5 oz. Yuzuri Yuzu Liqeuer
  • 0.5 oz. Falernum
  • 0.5 oz. Sour Syrup*
  • 1 oz. Butterfly Pea Tea**

Preparation: Brew Butterfly Pea Tea.

*Sour Syrup

  • 1:1:1 Ratio
  • Water, Sugar, Citric Acid Crystals

Stir Wodka, Yuzuri, Syrup, and Falernum. Strain into coupe. Serve to guest with the tea on the side. Have them pour the dark blue tea into the clear martini for them to witness magic and their drink to turn into a brilliant pink.

Cocktail Inspiration:

A bartender of mine recently hurt his shoulder. He’s been working one-armed for us. I wanted to create a cocktail that seemed to bring two disparate pieces together to create magic.
