Cocktail Inspiration:

I had the idea for this cocktail stuck in my mind for months, but hadn’t figured out how to bring it all together. While I was in Louisville with my girlfriend doing a barrel pick for our bar, I had a dish at a restaurant there that had everything that I had been looking for and was the light bulb moment for me. It was this beautiful dish that perfectly represented the bright freshness of summer with subtle acid undertones. The minute I got back, I went to work recreating those flavors in a glass. The spice of Wodka really carries the body of the cocktail and pulls all of the other ingredients together.
