Cocktail Inspiration:

Over the last few years my Polish-Irish mother and I have decided to rediscover her heritage and it has been a wonderful bonding experience. We’ve searched out recipes, some from her grandmother and others from the wonders of the internet. One of the first, very simple things we tried was Kompot. This flavorful, simple fruit drink has become a go-to for us because we can use fresh seasonal ingredients or dried fruits during the winter. This is a quick version of one of our favorite flavor combinations, peach, cherry, rosemary, and pepper spiked with a healthy glug of Wòdka. I hope you enjoy.
