Laotian in Motion

- 1.5 oz. Kaffir Lime Leaf-infused Wódka Vodka*
- 0.75 oz. Fresh Pineapple Juice
- 0.75 oz. Perfect Puree of Napa Valley Lychee Puree
- 0.25 oz. Fresh Lime Juice
- 0.25 oz. Frangelico
- Q Ginger Beer
*Kaffir Lime Leaf-infused Wódka Vodka
To infuse, combine 1 bottle of Wodka Vodka with 1/2 cup of loosely packed kaffir lime leaves in a non-reactive container. Allow to sit for 24 hours, then strain out leaves and bottle.
Preparation: Place ice spear into highball glass to temper while cocktail is being built. In a shaker, combine all ingredients except ginger beer. Add ice and shake. Double strain over ice spear into highball glass. Top with Q Ginger Beer and stir to combine. Garnish with pineapple leaf and serve with a straw.

I created this cocktail as a tribute to one of our business owners. She’s Laotian and is constantly moving between our two restaurants to make sure that everything is running smoothly. I wanted to capture her fun personality in a Southeast Asian-style tiki drink.
