Knicker Twist

  • 2 oz. Wódka Vodka
  • 1 oz. Dry Curaçao
  • .5 oz. Fresh Lime Juice
  • 1.5 tsp. Apricot Jam (Like Polaner all Fruit)
  • Bourbon Macerated Apricot

Preparation: Pour first 4 ingredients into a shaker tin and fill with plenty of ice. Shake vigorously to break up the jam and emulsify the drink. Double strain into a chilled glass. Using the natural separation of the dried apricot, open it and pinch it to the rim of the glass.

Prep ahead: Soak dried apricots in a 50/50 mix of bourbon and water to plump. At least 8 hours.

Garnish: Bourbon macerated dried apricot

Glassware: Coupe or Similar

Cocktail Inspiration:

This Sour is a twist on the Knickerbocker cocktail using a crisp vodka instead of rum and apricot jam in place of raspberry.
