This recipe was stumbled upon after I found myself a quarter of the way through a bottle of the Harleston Green. As I finally let my last dram sit upon the ice in the glass to open the flavors I thought to myself, “I should probably switch to beer at this point in the evening”. Two minutes later this recipe came to fruition. The water in the scotch opened the flavors of apricot and honey, and the beer in my other hand served as a brilliant relief to what would have probably been ‘one too many’… long story short, I felt the two could absolutely work together in harmony, and after a little conceptualizing, trial and error, the Heady Harley was created. And it’s really really good.
