  • 1.5 oz. Harleston Green Scotch
  • .25 oz. Amaro Foro
  • .25 oz. Mr. Black Coffee Liqueur
  • bar spoon of St. Elizabeth Allspice Dram
  • .5 oz. Cardamom infused agave
  • .5 oz. Fresh Lemon Juice
  • Basil, Aromatic Bitters
  • splash of Ginger Beer

Preparation: Cardamom agave is 50/50 agave and water, heat and steep with fresh cardomon then strain. Pour ingredients into cocktail shaker with a couple sprigs of fresh basil. Short shake and strain into pilsner glass. Top with crushed ice, rim with aromatic bitters, then add more crushed ice over top. Garnish.

Garnish: Cardamom dust, coffee dust, fresh basil leaf

Glassware: Pilsner Glass

Cocktail Inspiration:

I wanted to take scotch and make a refreshing, approachable cocktail that kept the notes that we all love about scotch, but tame it in a way that breaks any connotation you may have about what a scotch cocktail is supposed to be.
