Cupa Tì

  • 1.5 oz. Harleston Green Scotch
  • 1.5 oz. Brewed Early Grey Tea, Cooled
  • 2 drops Orange Bitters
  • 1 drop Smoked Cinnamon Bitters
  • 1 bar spoon Light Brown Sugar

Preparation: Add Brown Sugar, Orange and Cinnamon Bitters to a Shaker and stir to dissolve sugar. Add Harleston Green Scotch and Earl Grey Tea to shaker. Add a small scoop of ice and shake for 10 seconds to combine. Strain into a double Old Fashioned glass. Enjoy.

I was lucky enough to travel to Scotland with my family recently. One of my favorite days of the trip was when we went Scotch tasting. And we tasted and tasted and tasted. What an amazing experience. Smokey. Peaty. Citrusy. Herbal. Floral. By the time we finished tasting we were more than ready for a strong cup of tea and a cake or two. This cocktail gave me an opportunity to combine both of those experiences in one glass. Smokey, sweet, citrus, with a bite.
