Beet It

Recipe by Safraz Abdul


  • 2 slice Fresh Beets
  • 1 slice Fresh Ginger
  • .50 oz. Lime Juice
  • .50 oz. Manuka Honey
  • .50 oz. Egg White
  • .50 oz. Peach Liqueur
  • 1.75 oz. Wódka Vodka


  1. Muddle fresh and ginger vigorously into a Boston shaker, then add Rest of the ingredients into the shaker.
  2. Hard shake and double strain into a chilled Champagne Saucer.

Garnish: Slice of beet, beet leaf and lime wheel

Glassware: Champagne Saucer

Cocktail Inspiration:

Having years of experience with mixology, I will take any chance to create a new concoction. Bartending around the globe, I’ve learned to use unorthodox ingredients to construct cocktails out of the ordinary. When I tasted Wódka Vodka, I knew I wanted to build upon its smooth taste by adding a bit of tart with beets and ginger, a little bit of sweet with peach and Manuka honey and round it off with a well-frothed egg white. The aesthetics of the vibrant beet makes this creation especially appealing. Cheers!
