Tempe, Arizona has an emerging craft beer and cocktail scene and Pedal Haus Brewery is taking the reins with its fresh spin on the classic shandy, with the “Summer Shandy.”
Owner and Founder, Julian Wright and Beer Program Director, Derek “Doc” Osborne are continually experimenting with new flavors, styles and interpretations of beer and cocktails while sometimes even mixing them together.
The Summer Shandy is a delightfully refreshing blend of peach puree, lemonade, George Dickel Bourbon, and topped off with the Pedal Haus Light Lager.
- 3/4 oz. Peach Purée
- 3/4 oz. Lemonade (House Sour)
- 1 oz. George Dickel Bourbon
- Topped with the Pedal Haus Light Lager
Preparation: Mix ingredients together, add ice to the shandy for a cool refreshing temperature and stir together (don’t shake.)
