In fact, according to a New York Times study, only 52% of the American public polled believe that wine is healthy. Americans, it seems, are underestimating wine’s health benefits. The good news: the New York Times also surveyed hundreds of nutrition experts and found that 70% of certified nutritionists consider wine to be healthy – that’s 18% more than the public at large.
