Moet Hennessy Presents: The Q & The Q After Dark at Food Network South Beach Wine & Food Festival
Join Paula Deen and her two sons, Jamie and Bobby Deen as they host Moët Hennessy’s The Q. More than 40 of the top BBQ chefs from across the country will grill up chicken, ribs, brisket and pork butts from Omaha Steaks with smoky side dishes. These fabulous BBQ dishes will be paired with cocktail creations from the Moët Hennessy portfolio featuring Belvedere Vodka, Hennessy VS Cognac, Grand Marnier Liqueur and 10 Cane Rum.
And since no party is complete without the AFTER party, Miami nightlife comes to the beach as Moët Hennessy presents the Q After Dark. Guests will be regaled by a magnificent theatrical performance that will amaze and delight while they enjoy flutes of champagne from the official sponsor Moët & Chandon as well as dazzling concoctions from Belvedere Vodka, Hennessy Cognac, Grand Marnier and 10 Cane rum. Hosted by one of People Magazine’s Sexiest Men Alive and host of Top Chef Masters and Around The World in 80 Plates, Australian Celebrity Chef Curtis Stone will serve some of his favorite ‘barbie’ entrees from the ‘Land Of Plenty.’ Be sure not to miss this party under and WITH the stars!
Tickets for The Q include admission to The Q After Dark! Below you’ll find The Q’s cocktail lineup complete with directions, including eclectic drinks like The Sports Legend featuring Hennessey, The Q featuring Belvedere, the Grand Cran featuring Grand Marnier and the Light & Stormy by 10 Cane. All cocktails were crafted by Jordan Bushell, the festival mixologist who will be in town and available for interviews ahead of the festival. Hennessy: The Sports Legend
- 1.5 oz Hennessy V.S
- Equal parts Pineapple and CranberryJuice
- garnish lemon wedge
Preparation: Put Ingredients in a rocks glass over ice ,combine, and garnish a lemon wedge
Belvedere: The Q
- 2 oz Belvedere Vodka
- 3Ž4 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
- 3Ž4 oz Simple Syrup
Preaparation: Shake and strain over cubed ice into a rocks glass. Garnish with a wedge of lemon.
Grand Marnier: Grand Cran
- 1 1/2 oz Grand Marnier Cordon Rouge
- 3 oz Cranberry Juice
- Squeeze fresh lime
Preparation: Build ingredients in Boston shaker filled with ice. Shake vigorously and strain over fresh ice. Garnish with lime wedge. Cocktail not to be built over ice in serving glass – must be shaken.
10 Cane Rum: Light & Stormy
- 2oz 10 Cane
- 4oz of Ginger Beer or ginger Ale
- 1/2 oz Lime Juice
Preparation: Built in a highball glass over cubed ice, Garnish with lime wedge
