Drink Pink for Breast Cancer Awareness
By Chilled Magazine
Let’s talk facts. Each year, more than 200,000 women are diagnosed with breast cancer; one in eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetimes.
Even men are affected, although in smaller numbers. And, beyond those diagnosed, there are millions of people affected because of their loved one’s illness. Each year, Breast Cancer Awareness Month spreads the word about this disease. Bars around the country have, once again, stepped forward with pink drinks, proceeds from which benefit various charities and research organizations. We never need a reason to raise a glass, but sometimes, the motivation is inspired.
