For the third year in a row, Gran Coramino Tequila and Kevin Hart are thrilled to bring back The Coramino Cup – one-of-a-kind bartender competition that celebrates the under-appreciated and hardest working bartenders in the industry. ”Grit and hard work has been something that I have prided myself on since I was young,” Barrymore ‘Bud’ Shaw, 2024 Gran Coramino Bartender of the Year.

Free pour (10) “Mic-Drop” mixed Gran Coramino Reposado Tequila shots without a jigger and pour into shot glasses to test accuracy. Remainder of liquid to be poured out of shaker to check accuracy.

Make (5) Gran Coramino Reposado “Tequila ‘N Tonics” as quickly and balanced as possible.

Our contestant will craft (2) Gran Coramino Cristalino Tequila cocktails and provide a name to close out a credit card tab (e.g. “Kevin Hart”). Create the Cristalino cocktail, then flip through a stack of credit cards to find the name on a corresponding card to then place in a check booklet to present to the judges alongside the cocktail.

Once recruitment closes, we will select a handful of worthy bartenders to compete in our semifinals competitions over the summer for a chance to earn a spot in the Coramino Cup Finals.

This October 2nd, six qualifying bartenders will be invited to Los Angeles – home of Gran Coramino’s co-founder, Kevin Hart – to compete in the ultimate showdown: The Coramino Cup! Challenges are designed to test speed, accuracy and charisma, the true test of Gran Coramino’s mantra: Hard Work Tastes Different.

*Flight and hotel will be covered by Chilled Magazine for up to three days and two nights
