Driving Force Behind Bitters Revival Launches Fine Food
And Cocktail Flavorings Made From Natural Ingredients

Stephan Berg and Alexander Hauck today announced the official U.S. launch of their namesake brand of fine food and cocktail flavorings, Berg & Hauck’s (www.berg-and-hauck.com). Mr. Berg and Mr. Hauck have been instrumental in reviving extinct cocktail ingredients since founding their brand of highly acclaimed cocktail bitters, The Bitter Truth, in 2006.

This new line of products is comprised of six bitters flavors, developed to add delicious flavor to food dishes like soups, salads, meat, fish, fruits, sauces, puddings and cakes as well as to season favorite cocktails. The Berg & Hauck’s bitters are classified as non-potable in accordance with the FDA guidelines for non-beverage alcohol, and will therefore be available for purchase in grocers and gourmet retailers as well as with leading web-based retailers nationwide.

Berg and Hauck source superior fruits, herbs, spices and botanicals from all over the world to create these exceptional flavorings designed to enrich the taste of fine food and mixed drinks with unparalleled balance and complexity. The flavor of each carefully-selected ingredient is extracted in small batches with an extra slow maceration time.

Berg & Hauck’s flavors can be purchased individually – Old Time Aromatic Bitters, Orange Bitters, Lemon Bitters, Celery Bitters, Jerry Thomas Bitters, and Creole Bitters – or in a handy bitters kit with five flavors in miniature bottles.

Domaine Select Wine Estates is the exclusive U.S. importer of Berg & Hauck’s.
