Chillin’ with Pop Artist Tunde
By Chilled Magazine
Tunde, originally from Slovakia with Hungarian roots, is a classical music artist who now goes on to conquer the public, radio, and stages.
She is an artist who does not let the power of her sound go to waste. Instead, she utilizes it as a platform to express important topics, and simultaneously invite you to dance to fresh rhythms with elements of dance music and contemporary sounds of trap and dancehall. Tunde invites listeners and viewers to a journey into “everlasting” love!
Post 2017, Tunde revisited a passion that she had dismissed for several years, which was writing lyrics and composing her own songs. She took on 2018 with a new resolution; take singing classes on a regular basis. At the time she was blind to fact that this decision would soon completely re-vamp her musical and artistic expression.
In September 2018, she met with Sxmuel (Samuel Montoya) and together they made a work plan to produce three musical themes, all written and with basic arrangement by Tunde herself. Tunde resumed her commitments as a classical musician in November on tours through Europe and followed that with another tour through Asia in December 2018. After returning home, she went right to the recording studio to record the vocals for her first three singles: “Everlasting Love”, the main theme of the project, “Almost Midnight”, a theme that continues the concept with pop sound and urban elements established already in “Everlasting Love”, and a third single called “Take me Out” with Sxmuel as producer.
In summer and autumn 2019 Tunde released three further singles and an acoustic unplugged EP. Her trap anthem “Nobody Knows” was awarded second prize in the R&B / Hip Hop category of the International Songwriting Competition 2019.
Chilled chats with Tunde to get filled in on what’s on the horizon for her career and get the scoop on her favorite eats/sips.
Tell us about the projects you are working on.
My name is Tunde and I am a pop artist. Currently I am working on my debut album “Metamorphosis.” Though I have out quite some music already, this album represents me on a new level. I used to be a classical music artist. I played concerts and toured as a classical flautist all my life. Well, up until now at least. Now I am taking the plunge into the world of pop music and I couldn’t be more thrilled.
With your busy schedule, what do you like to do with your downtime?
I love to hang out with friends and have some fun. Do crazy things, laugh a lot, and enjoy life. I love going out.
When you go out to eat, where do you like to dine?
I am not going to go with the cliché answer, “I love pizza most.” Even though I do! No, but on a serious note, lately I am very conscious of what I eat and am trying to look for healthier alternatives. Vietnamese for example!
What types of dishes do you typically order?
Salads. Salads. Salads. When I am in a cheat mood, I order pasta, or something else fattening.

Anything sparkly and fancy.
What drinks do you order when out?
Hugo!
Do you prepare drinks at home?
At home I prefer water, coffee, and wine. White wine.
Have you ever been a bartender?
Nope.

Freddie Mercury.
