Mix up this delicious gin cocktail created by Nautical Gin On-Premise Director of Relations, Erin Henning.
- 2 oz. Nautical Gin
- 1/2 oz. MonteNegro Amaro
- 3/4 oz. Cara Cara Shrub*
- 4 dashes of Scrappy’s Chocolate Bitters
Preparation: Shake all ingredients with ice and strain into Nick & Nora glass. Garnish with anise star or thin orange peel.
*Cara Cara Shrub
- 1 cup of Sugar
- 2 Cara Cara Oranges, Sliced
- 1 cup of Champagne Vinegar
Preparation: Add sugar to sliced Cara Cara oranges, coat fruit with sugar in container. Refrigerate for 24-48 hours. Strain syrup away from solids of fruit. Add vinegar to syrup and whisk till sugar is dissolved. Pour into clean glass container.
