Award winning mixologist Jamal Giles, of Sugarcane Raw Bar Grill, Miami, mixes up his magic using all sorts of garden-fresh ingredients. His Carrot Chai Latte is bursting with warm-weather flavors.
“We have always had fresh carrot juice on our brunch menu. It’s naturally sweet so it doesn’t require too much and it pairs surprisingly well with scotch. It’s a serious cocktail but fun at the same time.”

Carrot Chai Latte
- 1 1/2 oz. Monkey Shoulder Scotch
- 2 1/2 oz. Fresh Carrot Juice
- 1/2 oz. Heavy Cream
- 3/4 oz. Homemade Chai Syrup
- 1 dash of Scrappy’s Chocolate Bitters
Preparation: Add all ingredients and shake with ice. Pour into a Collins glass filled with fresh ice. Garnish with micro carrot.
