RebirthPaleAleInPostImbibers can rejoice this month when NOLA Brewing Company introduces their latest packaged brew Rebirth Pale Ale, slated to hit shelves of Louisiana retailers on Monday, July 14, 2014.

Proceeds from the sale of the 12 oz. cans, available individually or in a six pack, will benefit The Roots of Music and will be available for purchase at all grocery stores, restaurants and bars where NOLA Brewing beers are sold

Designed by nationally-renowned New Orleans artist Frenchy, the can features a depiction of Grammy Award-winning Rebirth Brass Band’s acclaimed tuba player, Phil Frasier. The back of the can reads: “Rebirth: A word that inspired the return of the Crescent City after devastation, the Grammy Award-winning brass band that represents New Orleans, and the name of our Citra and Simcoe hopped Pale Ale. A portion of the profits from this beer goes to The Roots of Music, empowering New Orleans youth while preserving our city’s musical heritage.”

We founded this company five years ago in an effort to help rebuild New Orleans and what better way to do that than by supporting music education for our city’s youth. We’re thrilled to be working with The Roots of Music and giving back to our kids.”[/pullquote_left] Rebirth Pale Ale, available on draft and packaged, is a sessionable, American-style pale ale that uses five different malt varieties and desirable hops including Cascade, Simcoe and Citra. The pale ale is wonderfully balanced and its flavorful hop taste and aroma allows for more than one indulgence at a time, coming in at only 5% ABV.

Available year-round, the cans will first be distributed throughout Louisiana and shortly thereafter, available for purchase in Mississippi, Alabama and Florida. For more information on Rebirth Pale Ale and/or NOLA Brewing visit www.nolabrewing.com.
