BACARDÍ, Swizz Beatz and The Dean Collection Bring the Heat and “Island Might” Spirit to NO COMMISSION in Miami, featuring Michael B. Jordan, Alicia Keys, Virgil Abloh, Leikeli47, Amar’e Stoudemire and more.

BACARDÍ, Swizz Beatz and The Dean Collection kicked off NO COMMISSION: Miami 2017, a three-day, art and music experience taking place December 7-9, 2017, at Soho Studios in Wynwood. NO COMMISSION is a roving experiential platform that forges a direct link between art and art patronage. All artists are given their exhibition space for free and 100% of the sale of each artwork goes directly to the artists.

The invite-only event featured big star power, including critically acclaimed actor Michael B. Jordan, Grammy Award-winning artist Alicia Keys, former NBA star Amar’e Stoudemire, creative visionary Virgil Abloh, Major Lazer’s Jillionaire and famed celebrity photographer Jonathan Mannion. Performance highlights include Leikeli47, performing her hit “Money,” a special DJ set by Swizz Beatz, DJ Runna and Aine Zion.

BACARDÍ and Grammy Award-winning music producer Swizz Beatz brought together some of the most disruptive creatives in today’s culture to discuss the future of creativity during an intimate panel discussion on the first day of the immersive art and music fair. During the “Future of Creativity” panel, which was moderated by Brooklyn Museum Director Anne Pasternak and featured Swizz Beatz, Virgil Abloh, Kimberly Drew, Nora Khan and Carmen Aguilar Y Wedge, panelists discussed topics such as social responsibility, the impact of social media, corporate accountability and the role creatives play in today’s culture.

After a global tour to Shanghai and Berlin, NO COMMISSION made its triumphant return to Miami – BACARDÍ’s backyard. This showcase is themed around the idea of “Island Might” which focuses on the strength and vitality of the Caribbean while examining family and the intersection of land and sea, ritual, revolution and color—all as elemental forces that illuminate the roadmap for a bright future of endless possibility.

The injection of immersive music performances from collaborator BACARDÍ shakes up the traditional art fair, creating a unique culture experience for visitors. The exhibition hosted more than 30 pieces of art-work – ranging from $50.00 to $30,000.
