Azar Family Brands Completes Phase One of Seersucker Distillery

By Chilled Magazine

Azar Family Brands, founder of San Antonio’s Seersucker Southern Style Gin, is opening the first phase of Seersucker Distillery on Thursday, Feb. 15, 2018 in San Antonio, Texas.

Launched in late 2016, Seersucker is the world’s first and only Southern Style Gin and is slow-distilled with all-natural botanicals, including citrus, garden fresh mint and clove honey.

Seersucker Distillery sits on six acres of South Texas landscape and features a remodeled 5,000 square-foot distilling and bottling facility, a new tasting room and an expansive outdoor lawn complete with Seersucker-branded furniture, picnic tables and lawn games. The tasting room will proudly serve the brand’s cocktails as well as Cinco Five Star Vodka cocktails.

Designed by Pascal Delisse, the new tasting room incorporates Seersucker’s signature blue and white accents, herringbone-laid wooden floors, large windows for natural lighting and a custom Seersucker Southern Style Gin bar. An installation of piping above the bar will flow with individual batches of Seersucker, functionally transporting the gin from the distilling area to the bottling line, while also providing a unique design element within the space. Views of the distilling facility and bottling line offer guests an inside look into Seersucker’s distilling and packaging process.
