Philip S. Kampe is a U.S.-based wine, spirits, travel and food writer. Philip spent four years in Europe, following the wine and cheese trails of France, Germany, Italy and Spain. Upon his return to America, he opened an ice cream shop with recipes he had developed, eventually co-inventing cookie dough ice cream and achieving a Top Ten rating of all the ice cream shops in America. An Armagnac Certified Teacher, he holds several wine certificates on Italy, Spain, Portugal, Austria and France.
