Cucumber Coconut Margarita

Cucumber-Coconut Margarita

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 oz. Patrón Silver
  • 2 oz. Coconut Water
  • 1/2 oz. Fresh Squeezed Lime Juice
  • 1/2 oz. Simple Syrup
  • 1” piece English Cucumber (Diced)
  • 4 slices Cucumber (Sliced Thin for Garnish)

Preparation: In the bottom of a mixing glass, muddle cucumber and simple syrup. Add Patrón Silver, coconut water and lime juice. Shake vigorously with ice to chill. Strain onto fresh ice in a highball glass and garnish with a cucumber fan. Serve with a straw.

Cucumber-Mint Martini

Ingredients:

  • 2 Diced Coins of Sliced, Peeled Cucumber
  • 4-6 Mint Leaves
  • 1 oz. Fresh Lime Juice
  • 1 oz. Simple Syrup
  • 1 3/4 oz. Vodka
  • 1/4 oz. Cointreau or Triple Sec
  • 1 Unpeeled Cucumber Slice (for Garnish)

Preparation: Muddle cucumber, mint leaves, lime juice and simple syrup in shaker. Add ice and all spirits. Shake, then strain into glass and garnish with an unpeeled cucumber slice.

Cucumber-Lime Mojito

Ingredients:

  • 3 Diced Coins of Peeled Sliced English Cucumber
  • 5-6 Mint Leaves
  • 1 1/4 oz. Simple Syrup
  • 1 oz. Fresh Lime Juice
  • 1 1/2 oz. Rum (Golden Preferred)
  • Ice
  • Club Soda (to Top)
  • Unpeeled Cucumber Slice and Mint Sprig (for Garnish)

Preparation: In a shaker, combine and muddle the cucumber slices, mint leaves, simple syrup and lime juice. Then, add the rum and ice. Shake and strain into iced Collins glass (leave a little crushed cucumber and mint in the glass). Top with club soda and garnish with unpeeled cucumber wheel and mint sprig.

Ingredients:

  • 1 oz. Vodka
  • 1/2 oz. Limoncello
  • 2 oz. Lemonade
  • 2 Diced Coins of Sliced, Peeled Cucumber
  • Cucumber Slice (for Garnish)

Preparation:
 Pour vodka and limoncello into a heavy bottomed glass. Add cucumber slices and muddle them with the vodka and limoncello to release the juices. Strain using a fine mesh strainer to remove any pulp and seeds, and then pour over ice. Top with the lemonade and garnish with a cucumber slice.


Cucumber Margarita

Cucumber Margarita

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 oz. Cucumber/Mint Infused Blanco Tequila*
  • 1/2 oz. Cointreau or Triple Sec
  • 2 1/2 oz. Margarita Mix

Preparation: In a shaker with ice add all ingredients and shake well. Strain into a cocktail glass with fresh ice and garnish with a thin slice of cucumber. Masa mixologists use a mandolin to make long, thin slices of cucumber to wrap around the inside of the glass.

*Cucumber/Mint Infused Blanco Tequila

Ingredients:

  • 1 liter Blanco Tequila
  • 2 English Cucumbers (Peeled to Give a Striped Appearance – Too Much Green Skin Produces a Bitter Taste – and Cut into 1/4″ Coins)
  • 2 oz. Fresh Mint Leaves (Without Stalks)

Preparation: Combine all ingredients in a container with a tight lid. Steep and refrigerate for a minimum of 35 hours. Strain liquid through a fine mesh strainer to remove any sediment from the cucumber and mint, then pour back into bottle. Place a fresh piece of cucumber in bottle for identification. Combine all ingredients and mix well. Can be stored in a sealed container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.

Sometimes It Comes Easy

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz. Blanco Tequila
  • 1/2 oz. Fernet Branca Menta
  • 1/4 oz. Fresh Lime Juice
  • 1/4 oz. Simple Syrup
  • 3 slices Peeled Cucumber (the Skin of Cucumber Needs to be Removed to Keep the Bitter Flavor Out of the Final Product)
  • 1 large Mint Sprig

Preparation:
 In a shaker, add all ingredients except for the mint sprig. Shake well and double strain over fresh ice and garnish with the mint sprig slightly pushed between the inside of the glass and the ice.
