The Great Pumpkin Caper is a fall libation at its best. Bourbon satisfies cravings for amber-hued spirits (mixologist Danny Ojinaga suggests Breaking & Entering Bourbon). Add that to The Perfect Purée’s Cranberry Puree and Ginger Puree, shake well, strain into a glass and top with Dogfish Head Pumpkin Ale. Garnish with candied ginger and cranberry and toast to fall.

You can have apple pie or you can have a Spicy Apple Fritter, because it’s not fall without apples, cinnamon and cider. Natalie Bovis of The Liquid Muse created this non-alcoholic apple drink in a blender as an alternative to dessert after a hearty fall meal. The Perfect Purée’s Ginger Puree lends a spicy kick to Green Apple Puree, apple cider, a dash of cinnamon and a little coconut oil and ice for smooth consistency. For a little more kick, add your favorite spirit.
