Long before there was millennial pink, there was watermelon.

This National Watermelon Day, August 3rd, 2018, honor America’s favorite melon by drinking all the bright pink cocktails you can find. Great for large-format drinks and mixed alongside summer herb favorites like basil, rosemary, and cilantro, watermelon’s juicy mouthfeel works well in both sweet and savory cocktails alike. Consisting of 92% water, natural sugars, and vitamins A and C, watermelon is the ultimate staple for summer cocktails because it will actually help you stay hydrated and replenished as we head into the dog days of summer.

Get ready to set your boring watermelon slice aside and indulge in the many creative ways to sip this luscious fruit.
