3 Badge Beverage Corporation, a leader in cutting edge and boutique wine and spirits négociants, has announced the addition of Guinigi wines.
The new northeastern Italian line is launching with two single-varietal bottles of Pinot Grigio and Prosecco. The collection honors the cultural roots of August Sebastiani, the proprietor while appealing to a modern palette with a crisp, clean flavor profile, low alcohol levels, and a refreshing acidity.
“Every sip of Guinigi evokes a sense of nostalgia for the verdant valleys and rolling hills of northern Italy,” said fourth-generation vintner, Sebastiani. “My family has always maintained a deep connection to this region through its nuanced wines, and with Guinigi’s bright fruit profile and food-friendly appeal, I’m thrilled to pay homage to the Italian wines my ancestors grew and enjoyed.”
The Prosecco D.O.C. Treviso is made from grapes sourced from the northeastern province of Treviso, creating a sparling golden wine with persistent bubbles and a fine bead. Notes of white peach, apple, citrus fruits, wisteria, and acacia flowers make for an ideal aperitif while still holding up to a buttery fish or pizza.
Produced in the Delle Venezie area of Triveneto, the 2019 Pinot Grigio D.O.C has a mineral hint with the enticing aroma of hawthorn flowers and ripe apricot. Tasting notes include crisp peach, apple, and bright citrus cut with a juicy acidity making it the perfect pair to sushi and antipasti.
