By Chilled Magazine

Biagio Cru’s Lolailo sangria has been named the Impact Hot Brand of 2012 by leading industry analyst Impact Databank in their annual list of the fastest-growing drink brands.

Lolailo is a true, imported sangria made in the finest Spanish tradition from a 70-year-old recipe. Available in red and white, Lolailo is made from grapes indigenous to Spain, with natural extracts of orange peels, and Mediterranean cherries and grapes.

“The growth of Lolailo and the enthusiasm we’ve seen from consumers across the nation has been phenomenal,” said Darren Restivo, one of the principals of Biagio Cru and Estate Wines, the importer of Lolailo.

Lolailo continues to expand and we expect to sell about 500,000 cases this year.

It is Biagio Cru’s first entry onto Impact’s “Hot Brands” list. [Lolailo is the only exclusively Spanish import to make the 2012 list.]

The achievement by Lolailo in sales and marketing is featured in March issues of both Impact and Market Watch, and will be honored at a cocktail reception and award presentation at the Wine & Spirits Wholesalers of America 70th Annual Convention & Exposition on Sunday, April 28, 2013.

Lolailo is available nationwide and retails for $5.99 for a 750 milliliter bottle; $9.99 for 1.5 liter bottle.
