Thanksgiving Cocktails Are Here!

It’s hard to believe but Thanksgiving is just around the corner.
Whether you are imbibing to celebrate the season, to take the chill out of your bones, or to help you deal with the fam, Chilled has you covered. From a pumpkin spice to cranberry shrub and warming whiskey to lighter vodka drinks, these five cocktails will see you through the holiday.
Butternut Squash Old Fashioned

Ingredients:
- 2 oz. Squash-Infused Sazarac Rye
- dash Giffard Banana Liqueur
- dash Walnut Bitters
- Orange Peel Garnish
Preparation: Combine ingredients in an old fashioned glass. stir with ice cube. Garnish with orange peel.
For the infusion: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Toss squash in bowl with maple syrup and cinnamon. Bake for 15 minutes. Add squash to rye and let sit for 2 – 3 weeks.
Coco Coffee

Ingredients:
- 1 oz. Frangelico
- 1 oz. Wild Turkey Bourbon
- 1/2 oz. Cold Coffee
- 1/2 oz. Cream
- 1/2 oz. Coconut Milk
- pinch Nutmeg
Preparation: Vigorously shake everything except nutmeg. Strain into martini glass. Nutmeg garnish.
Gold Harvest

Ingredients:
- 2 oz. elit by Stolichnaya
- 1 oz. Hibiscus Cranberry Shrub*
- 1 oz. Lemon Juice
- 1 tsp. Honey
Preparation: Add all ingredients to a shaker and shake then strain into a cocktail glass and garnish with gold flake.
*Hibiscus Cranberry Shrub
Ingredients:
- 2 cups Water
- 2 cups Sugar
- 2 cups Apple Cider Vinegar
- 3 cups Sugar
- 1 lb Cranberries
- 10 grams Dried Hibiscus Flowers
Preparation: Add sugar, water, Hibiscus and cranberries to a pot and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes. Allow to cool and then strain through cheesecloth or fine strainer. Add apple cider vinegar to the mixture and stir to combine. Store in the refrigerator.
Hot Tully

Ingredients:
- 1 oz. Tullamore Dew
- 1/2 oz. Simple Syrup
- 1/2 oz. Fresh Lemon Juice
- 3 oz. Hot Water
Preparation: First warm a mug with hot water, then discard and combine ingredients above. Stir before serving. Options: Add fresh ginger for a bit of a bite or infuse the simple syrup with fun flavors such as cinnamon and orange, or apple and ginger.
Pumpkin Spice Bloody Mary

Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 oz. Vodka, Such as Reyka
- 2 T. Red Duck Pumpkin Spice Ketchup
- 4 oz. Tomato Juice
- dash Worcestershire Sauce
- dash Hot Sauce
- 1 T. Sea Salt (for Rim)
- 1 tsp. Smoked Paprika (for Rim)
- Pinch Cinnamon (for Rim)
- Lemon (for Rim and Garnish)
Preparation: If using the spiced salt rim, combine salt, smoked paprika, and cinnamon in a small dish. Cut a wedge of lemon and rub the cut side along the rim of your glasses. Gently press the rim of the glasses in the salt mixture to coat. Fill glasses with fresh ice. In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine vodka, ketchup, tomato juice, Worcestershire sauce and hot sauce. Shake well to combine, then strain into prepared glasses. Garnish with lemon.
