Spirit of America Donates $11,520 to Hope for the Warriors

At the annual Scarlett & Gold Invitational in Wallace, North Carolina on August 16th-18th, a prominent fundraiser for Hope for the Warriors® (national non-profit serving members of the military and their families) took place, and Spirit of America® (SOASpirits.com) was a featured sponsor.

The founder of Spirit of America Handcrafted Bourbon Whiskey, Lenny Roberts, participated in all the festivities by providing tastings at each event, donated product for two silent auctions, toured the Lejeune Military Base in Jacksonville, NC and presented Hope for the Warriors with a donation of $11,520.00 in front of the No Man Left Behind statue.

“Our father and industry legend, Mike Roberts, had a vision and a keen sense of seeing winners long before they ever became successful. He created the brand ‘Spirit of America” back in 1980 but never found the right product, partner and time to launch it. This was a tribute to Mike, a man who served his country and lived his life by the true Spirit of America – honor, pride, integrity, and hard work.”
