Secrets of an Italian Icon Revealed on Fernet-Branca Book Tour

Fernet-Branca just wrapped a five-city tour tied to the beautiful Branca coffee table book filled with rich history and the evolution of Fratelli Branca through the years, and was led by Edoardo Branca, the sixth generation of the Branca family.
The book tour appeared in five cities total: San Francisco, Portland, Los Angeles, Chicago and New York. Top tier beverage, travel and lifestyle media alongside representatives from each city’s top bars attended.
Edoardo delivered a welcome toast in which he shared secrets of the iconic Italian brand – such as that distillery workers on the first and second floor have differing opinions of which man (Fernet or Branca) began the company. It was both – hence the hyphenated brand name. Following the rich tales of the brand’s history, Edoardo led a vintage tasting where guests sampled Fernet-Branca from the 1970s, 1980s and today and compared tasting notes.
Edoardo’s most important message was driven home through all elements of the event: Fernet-Branca has a rich and storied history which it will continue to honor, but will also continue to evolve with the times and remain relevant in the future. Fernet-Branca innovates while preserving tradition.
