Leading U.S. wine & spirits importer, Palm Bay International, has announced the addition of McGuigan Wines to its portfolio.

Based in Australia’s Hunter Valley, McGuigan is synonymous with Australian winemaking, benefiting from a long family history that stretches back four generations to 1880. One of the world’s most lauded wineries, under current chief winemaker and CEO Neil McGuigan, McGuigan Wines has been awarded International Winemaker of the Year a record four times by the prestigious International Wine & Spirits Competition in London—the first winery ever to achieve this feat.

New offerings from McGuigan will include The Plan, a range of vibrant, fruit-driven wines with a spine of elegant acidity sourced from select vineyard sites throughout South-Eastern Australia. The Plan will launch with four expressions: Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz and Red Blend. The Plan is uniquely Australian, featuring premium packaging with a blueprint design that pays homage to the successive generations of McGuigans who set the plan in motion and have stayed the course since 1880.

Additionally, McGuigan’s Icon wines will join the portfolio, highlighting Australia’s regional specificity and representing the pinnacle of the McGuigan portfolio. These include Hand Made Shiraz, sourced from low yielding vineyards in the Langhorne Creek, and The Philosophy, a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon sourced from the Seven Hills area of Clare Valley and Shiraz from Auburn in Clare Valley’s southern edge.

The Plan is line priced at $11.99 while Hand Made Shiraz and The Philosophy are available with SRPs of $40.00 and $125.00, respectively. All McGuigan wine offerings are currently rolling out nationwide.
