Must Mix Margarita Day Cocktails

By Vicki Cruz

Let’s try not to think about how cold we have been lately and try to think about spring being just a few weeks away. We know, we can’t believe it either.

One way to do that is to sip on some Margaritas while celebrating National Margarita Day on February 22! Celebrating inside, that is. Below are some restaurants that serve up special offerings for this special day. If you are in the area of any of them, they are definitely worth checking out. Or, you can celebrate in the comfort (and warmth) of your own home by making your very own signature margarita from one of the delicious recipes below.

Cheers and Happy Margarita Day!

If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. Especially on this day, treat yourself and purchase a classic wallet-friendly Patron ($6.95) or Sauza ($4.50) margarita in addition to your burritos, bowls, and tacos. The cocktails are served on the rocks with a wedge of lime, and are made to order with tequila, triple sec, a blend of fresh lime and lemon juices, and organic agave nectar.
